“Remembrance”

 

You see, animals know themselves,

They have an ego just like you and me,

But we have one thing that transcends them,

That is that we commune to a Higher One,

We sing Psalms and Praises unto the First One,

The Creator of all things, The Eternal One,

We acknowledge the One, the One we cannot see,

Nor can we grasp onto Him with our fleshly hands,

We acknowledge that there is something Greater than just you & I,

This is the Triplicity that I see as one,

Thy ego, thy soul, thy Heavenly First One,

From You, From One, did all things come,

You are the Filler, The Taker, & the Redeemer,

And I bow down, my nose to the ground,

All Magnificent, All Powerful, All Glory,

To You all things owe their existence,

Yet we are only a small portion within You, Oh Great One,

Therefore we cannot know all there is,

For You transcend our very thoughts,

How then, can we ever truly put a name on Thou?

Oh Beneficent, Merciful One,

To You I say, Shukran!!! From the very depths,-

Of my heart, my mind, & my soul.

This… and only this,-

Separates us from all other animals in Your Kingdom,

All Praises, All Blessings, All is solely for You my Lord.
