“It’s easier”
It’s easier to ridicule than to give a helping hand,
It’s easier to hate, than it is to help mend a wound,
It’s easier to find fault, than it is to show compassion,
It’s easier to stand up when you’re amongst your own clique,
Than to stand up alone and shout the truth to all those who believe not,
It’s easier to lash out, than to hold your tongue in silence,
It’s easier to do absolutely nothing, than to actually get off your duff,
It’s easier to daydream about your wants & fancies,
Than to embrace nothing within the mind,
It’s easier to be blinded, than to know the lessons of history,
It’s easier to control the masses, when they are sheep indeed!
