“The Game”

“The Game”

Sometimes I too lose track of thy being,

Instead of creating goodness, I find thyself in mortal pain,

Not that this is bad in its entirety,

As it lets me know where I stand at this particular point in the game,

And I can easily find thyself back to thy core,

Thy path of eternal goodness where light flows forevermore,

Yet this is after tears of blue have fallen,

Where chaos has reared its ugly head upon thy world,

Only because I invited it to be, to stay for the main course indeed,

Feeding it I did, as though it’s the center stage of events,

The attraction I want for the moment to be, is what is to be,

Therefore it comes to me with gifts of misery,

And when thy ignorance flees, and thy eyes open up,

I look back and then I discover a world that has always been to be,

Asking thyself what do I truly want? How do I want thy world to be?

How simple all of this is, as I already know that which I desire within,

And what I desire within, is what I expand outwardly,

A loving world where the sun shines within thy soul,

One of happiness, where pain is no longer there,

Not tomorrow, but that of today,

And as I look around, I smile with glee,

I laugh at what was, knowing darkness has no true power,

As love is always there, even when one is blind for a moment in the sea,

Cause I realize who and what I am once more,

No longer in the fog of darkness or of chaos,

How exciting indeed… is this game of creation we play eternally.
